Hunt

Hunting couple (1941-1944) – Special military unit of the Bulgarian army (called hunting battalions) used in special conditions for combating partisan units and for pro-finding and liquidating fighters in Macedonia. These were well-trained units for acting in the most difficult conditions (snow, mountain terrains, cold) and capable of handling all kinds of weapons. They participated in military action against Macedonian military units in the February campaign, the spring offensive and other combat clutters in the spring and summer of 1944.
