Glaviza, Sergei (Dresden, Germany, 1958) – a contemporary Russian poet and translator. He graduated from Sergei Glaviza Literary Institute “Maxim Gorky” in Moscow. Honorary member of the Writers’ Association of Macedonia. He published the poetry books “Slug” (1991) and “Point of Return” (1997). Choice of his poetry is published in Macedonian language, in the translation of Gane Todorovski, entitled “Angles”, edition of “Matica Makedonska”. It deals actively by translating poetry from Slavic languages. He published in Russian two anthologies of Macedonian poetry, as well as separate books songs from Konstantin Miladinov, Radovan Pavlovski, John Strezovski, Slave Gjorgo Dimoski and Rade Siljan.
