GABRO

Gabro – depth magmatic rock from the group of gabrows and basalts. It has a grain structure, and the texture is most often massive. It is built by the following minerals: basic plagioclassers, monocleine poyalty and Olivine, and as accessory minerals appear, apathite and magnetite. It is very common the emergence of secondary minerals in Gabrows, such as: Socit, Uralite, Siffen, Epidery, calcite, chloride. Gabrot usually appears in larger magmatic bodies, it has dark green to black. On the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, Gabrovi appear within the Oceanic Cable sequence in the complex Demir Kapija-Gevgelija. Litt.: B. Boev, S.
