Brezovski, Velimir (village Galichnik, Mavrovo, 19. ⅹ 1924 – 6. ⅰ 1986) – Primeist, historian. He was a participant in NOVM (1941) and a member of the CPM (1944). Worked in the historical department of the CCM of SCM (1954-1959) and and time graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje – Group History (June 1955). After joining the Historical Department of the CPM of the CPM to the Institute of National History (1960- 1986), he received his doctorate at the said faculty on the topic “Liberation War in Macedonia in 1943” (1965). He is the author of books, documents with documents, articles and articles of scientific gatherings for the period between the two world wars and NOVM.
