They concluded an alliance with the Italian and German army, from which they later received weapons and ammunition. At the end of 1943 formed the Kosovo regiment. In Macedonia, besides military actions, Balists committed numerous palles, robberies, rapes and murders. These actions were performed alone or in coordination with Italian and German military forces.
