Buzalkov, Risto (Basino Si-Lo, Veles, 1927) – Physiologist, UNIV. a prefect. Primary education ended in birthplace and secondary in Veles (1946). The same year he enrolled at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje – a group of biology. He graduated in 1951. From the previous April the same year he was elected assistant at the physiological Institute of the Department of Biology. He received his doctorate in 1960, when he was elected for assistant. In 1966 He was elected Associate Professor, and in 1971 he was elected full-time professor of the subject comparative physiology. In 1987 He left retired. During the service life, prof. Buzalkov was a specialization in more eminent physiological laboratories. He is the author of over 140 scientific papers printed in domestic and foreign magazines. D. PR.
