Request, Nikolai Ilich

Request, Nikolai Ilich (Russia, 1887 -?) – An entomologist. In the period between the two world wars and the Second World War, he was an entomologist in the hygienic Institute in Skopje and the hygienic Institute in Zagreb (1920-1944) and a scientific associate of the Parasitology Institute at the Veterinary Faculty in Zagreb. He discovered over 200 new types of two-wing, Asia, Africa and Australia. It processed the flies from the Tazhytic family and discovered the beds of the famous Golubachic Musche in the Danube (1936).
