Bansaine from Bansko – the only balneum (thermal spa) from the ancient period in Macedonia, discovered in 1978. And archaeological investigated by 1995, at the site Turkish bath Fair in the village of Bansko (Strumica). A complex of 10 rooms on an area of 1,000 m². The walls that were preserved at a height of 2 to 6.70 m are masonized mainly in Opus Majdum technique, and OPTORS forever with ordinary arches, cresting vault and a semi-calothet conchal vault. The central room is with a large pool paved with square brick, which comes through 4 staircase, which is supplied with hot water from the source of parlel. Lit.: J.
