Ristov, Milcho (Radovis, 5. ⅺ 1931 – Skopje, 7. ⅷ 2005) – Physicist, Order. Prof. The PMF (1975), MANU member (1983). He graduated (1956) at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Group for Physics, Master’s Degree (1962) at the University of Manchester. He received his Phm (1970) with a study of the low-frequency voltagent feature of the plasma in a high frequency field. The PMF worked since 1956, first as an assistant, and then as a teacher, mainly for the subjects of electronics and appliances and instruments in the laboratory. For experimental exercises, it prepared appropriate practicumes, and his textbook “Electronics” was reissued several times. Worked on topics from several areas: Physics of low-temperature plasma, phase diagrams of alloys, experimental methods, semiconductors and thin films, electricalism. Of the 100 published scientific publications, most of them are related to the preparation and study of the properties of tin films regarding the photovoltaic conversion of solar radiation and the majority of them are published abroad. He managed about 20 scientific projects and with the preparation of several Masters and Doctoral dissertations. He encouraged and realized more specific applications of physics in construction and medicine. Almost until the end of life worked in its laboratory.
