Badev, Nikola (village of Glisic, Kavadarecho, 8. 1918 – Skopje, 25. IX 1976) – Interpreter of Macedonian folk songs. After winning the first place of the Folklore Festival in Skopje (1948), observed by ethnomologist Vasil Hadzimanov, soon started a professional career as a singer and instrumentalist of Tamburur (1950). He was a member of the National Orchestra of Radio Skopje, and later his head. With the State Ensemble for folk songs and games “Tanec” from Skopje, affirmed the Macedonian merchants around the world. For the needs of Radio Skopje, he recorded over 500 Macedonian folk songs, including the anthological “Goodbye, Majko, I went,” “cuttings, moist, Russians”, “Oj Yao, Jana”, “The vajah arrived”, “heavy Our parting “etc. He recorded songs in duets with Anka Gieva, Blagoj Petrov-Karah and Aleksandar Sarajovski.
