People’s costume – a significant component for studying the ethnic and cultural past of the people or a ethnic group and is one of the most powerful indicators for their aesthetic and artistic level. It contains the function of a landmark of the social and cultural status of the person in ethnic and regional frameworks. The overall process of preparation and decoration of the costumes in Macedonia took place at home, mainly by the female population. J. R.-P.
