Bowling in Macedonia – sports discipline. At first, there was a recreational activity (1945-1972). It was then founded a bowl of Macedonia (1972), which was renamed Federation (2002). The first bowling alley was built at the Bellevue Hotel (1975), and then others. The first clubs were “May 13”, “December 22”, “Bellevue”, “Disabled” in Skopje, etc. Competitions took place after tournament and the league system. At the World Cup in Brasov (Romania, 2005) Boris Bennedik won two gold and one bronze, and Damir Foodar Bronze Medal. Top results achieved Elizabeta Cholakovska, Victoria Madjarovska, Todor Manev and other bowlers. D. S.
