Kostovski, Branko (24. 1924 – Skopje, 30. IX 1994) – Painter and scenographer, especially important for modernizing the scenographic language. He was a participant in the NOB. A certain period studied at APU in Belgrade (1949). Since 1952 Works on scenery in the MNT, and in parallel also deals with painting. The most noticeable are his scenographics for drama (Whirlpool, 1968; Darkness, 1971; Night, 1976), Opera, 1982) and Ballet (Ohrid legend, 1969), in Dear Kostovski ski roles. He also performed on a film, in a series of radio and TV programs, emissions in the field of poetry, etc. Corus: Dasing (“suspicious person”), Vasko ash (“at the bottom”), the prisoner (“Whirlpool”), Protasov (“living corpse”), the mayor (“auditor”). He sang in the operas: “Ero from the world”, “Aida”, “Seville Barber”, and also participated in the Ballets “Ohrid legend” and “Valpurgian Night”. He performed in the films: “Miss Stone”, “Thessaloniki assassins”, “Macedonian Bloody Wedding”, “Shot”, “Yad”, etc. R. ST. B. Kostovski: Scenography of the drama “SKA” by M.
