Janevski, Zivko (Gradsko, 1 ⅷ 1940 – Skopje, 15. ⅲ 2000) – The most prominent Macedonian news photojournalist. The Master of Photography of Yugoslavia (1974), in the next year in Bern, received the highest international recognition of an art photography EFIP. With a photograph began as a member of the Belgrade photo clubs “Electromasatac” and “Belgrade” (1957/1968), and professionally after Genevski, the Qurinje in Skopje (1968). He spent his entire working life in the NIP “Nova Makedonija” as an associate / editor of photograph of “Nova Makedonija”, “Vecer”, “Journal”, “screen”, “rest”, “Pulse”. He had seven stand-alone exhibitions, presented another twenty group exhibitions in the most significant photo salons in the world. Won 84 prizes. Since 2001 An annual “Grand Prix Zivko Janevski” is established for the most successful photo-reporter performances. B. P. F.
