Zarchev, Dimitri (Ohrid, 17. Xi 1940) – Architect. He graduated from the Faculty of Architectural Faculty in Skopje (1966). He spent most of his professional activity in the GP “Trudgent” as a director. It projected and realized various objects in which the tendency for the synthesis of the old Ohrid architecture with modern is present. He also worked in the sphere of urban planning. He was President of the Municipality of Ohrid. Realized more residential complexes, residential houses and individual family houses, the residential complex “Ohridati”, “Daljan”, residential towers “Levka” in Ohrid; Hotel “Metropol” in Ohrid (1968) (with V. Zork); The Hotel “Crani” of Prespa Lake (1981); The Shopping Center “Amam” in Oh-Reid (1995); The factory for the processing of plastic masses “Lychnida” in Ohrid (1968); Industrial complex “Souvenir” in Samokov (1979).
