Gligoric, Veligor (Rippe, 28th ⅶ 1899 – Belgrade, 3. ⅹ 1977) – a literary critic and historian. He graduated from the Law Facult – Veligor Gligoric Tet in Belgrade (1924) and was then a clerk in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. At the time of World War II, he was arrested and deported in Germany. After the liberation, he was the director of the drama, the manager of the National Theater and Trustee of the Yugoslav Drama in Belgrade, full professor at the Department of Yugoslav Literature at the Faculty of Philology, regular member and president of SANA and a member of the MANA outside the working composition (25. ⅻ 1969 ).
