Cathan – a rectangular piece of cloth, decorated with a rich embroidery in the technique of covenant, with old metal money, beads, kuri shells, as well as a rich sweat of black, red or white woolen rosses. It was carried on the wedding day as an integral part of the compaction, due to its weight, attached with a bridal clash. Fig. F.
